The talk will cover work and research set within the rapidly urbanising and developing city of Kigali.
- Urban planning of high density housing: which integrates green infrastructure to create cohesive neighbourhoods that respect both the challenging topography and traditional living patterns.
- Piloting of sustainable 'home grown' building technological solutions on projects of various sizes - that increases the capacity of the local building industry whilst contributing to job creation and economic development.
We will show a selection of projects - all interlinked - as part of our agenda to contribute to the sustainable development of Rwanda.
